Tag Days can yield anywhere between $600.00 and $12,000.00 for a two or three day event, depending on the number of cadets and available locations.

Please see the Sign up sheet at the Squadron Administration door before the TAG Day event of April 14 & 15. The Parent Squadron Sponsoring Committee and Staff Administration will assign time and location for each cadet.

Organizing a tag day requires coordination between the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (“SSC”) and the Commanding Officer (“CO”). It is important to establish a week-end that does not conflict with a training exercise so that the maximum number of cadets are available to “tag”. Also important is that the CO places this fund-raising activity on the Monthly Routine Orders (“MROs”).
For the initial tag day event, the organizing and assignment of locations may be done by the SSC. However, an established tag day can utilize senior cadets for administrative tasks such as location assignments, supervision of younger cadets and reminder telephone calls. All money management must be done by the SSC.
