CAF Famil "Tech Talks"
The objective is CAF Familiarization (CAF Famil), which is essentially an introduction to as many (Canadian Armed Forces) CAF members in as many occupations as possible. This is the team that ensures the CAF can maintain a strong, secure, engaged national defense policy.
Every “cool job” has many other unseen team members working together to ensure their operational effectiveness. Every team member is essential, there are no “spare people” in the CAF. As these episodes are for general familiarization, they are open to all elements. The objective of these Tech Talks is to familiarize cadets with the many occupations that may otherwise be unknown to them.
The Next upcoming Tech Talks is Wednesday, 1 Feb 2022:
A CAF Famil “Tech Talk” presentation, featuring a Human Resources Administrator (HRA clerk)
Please remember the 1930 timing is only for setup, audio checks, etc. The presentation begins at 2000 (CST). The normal runtime is 30-40 minutes to fit into the existing training schedule, but most episodes will run later to address cadet questions.
