1) TRAINING YEAR
Until further notice, regular Cadet training will not be starting until mid-October. We are currently only working on getting your Annual Validation Forms processed, getting the Seniors prepared for the Training Year, and getting our office and staff organized.
DO NOT COME TO MINTO ARMOURY. WE ARE NOT DOING ANY IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL ACTIVITIES AT THIS TIME.
2) ANNUAL VALIDATION FORMS
All previously enrolled Cadets have been sent the "Annual Validation Form'. This form MUST be reviewed for completeness and signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the Squadron Office.
Confirm names/addresses/phone #'s and emails and spellings are correct
Ensure that there is a Cadet email address in Section 1 (this is a must moving forward)
Ensure that Section 5 has a "Yes' or 'No' check-marked for the question

Completed forms are to be emailed to: 177Air@cadets.gc.ca

3) SENIOR CADET WORKSHOP - MANDATORY
A Senior Cadet Cadet Workshop is being held on Friday, Oct 1st at 6:30 pm - 9:00pm. (Change in time)
All Level 5 Cadets are to attend. Below is a link to the list of Cadets expected. If you are not returning or are unable to make it, please inform the office ASAP.
We do not know at this time yet if this will be held virtually or in-person as we are waiting on guidance from Minto Armoury and Regional Headquarters.
If held in-person, you will need to wear a mask and also ensure that you completed the COVID-19 course online that was sent out last year. Details on how to access the course or on the website under 'Weekly Announcements'.
An email will be sent out later this week with a final decision on if it will be virtual or in person.
Senior Cadet Survey: All Senior Cadets are also requested to complete the following surveythat was due 24-Sep-2021
