TRAINING
LEVEL 3s & LEVEL 4s:

• A reminder that you will be conducting your Instructional Technique Assessments over the next 2 weeks.  Please ensure you are prepared.  This assessment is required in order to pass your level.

• Aviation Re-assessments will be scheduled for the beginning of May.

LEVEL 5s:
Level 5 log books!

• Those wanting 1 on 1 help filling out their log book can email Natalie.DionneStVincent@cadets.gc.ca or ntdionne@ualberta.ca as needed.

• Also remember that you can use any of your current teaching experiences at the squadron to any level to get that section, (PO 509) of your log book complete. To do that, just talk to the level officer about assessing you before you teach. 

SUMMER TRAINING APPLICATIONS
THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES TO THE VIRTUAL SUMMER TRAINING.  

If you have previously applied, you will need to review the new 2021 Brochure (link below) and review the new options.  A course you may have selected previously may no longer be available.  The brochure also outlines the pre-requisites (if needed) and the time commitment required.

In addition, a new application form has been released from HQ, that outlines the course dates and language options (link below).

All Cadets that are interested in Summer Training should review the Brochure and submit the new application, even if you have previously applied.  Cadets & Parent/Guardian must sign the application form. 

Applications are due NO LATER THAN 01-May-2021.

ATTENDANCE

• A reminder that if you are going to miss Cadets, you MUST complete the Cadet Absentee Request Form on the website.  
• Please be courteous so that the Level Officers and Instructors are not waiting for you to appear for your class. 
• If you do not fill out one by the Thursday evening before the class you are marked as 'Absent' not 'Excused'.

The Parent Sponsoring Committee also has a Red River Co-Op number that be used at gas stations.  The next time you fill-up, please consider using the SCC's number.  Proceeds from Co-Op will be given the SCC to help with Squadron activities.
