JOINT SQUADRON PARADE NIGHT - 05 FEB 2021
We are pleased to announce that we will be conducting a joint Squadron parade night with 187 Foothills Air Cadet Squadron based from outside of Calgary. We look forward to having 187 RCACS Cadets and their staff join us on the evening of Feb 5th.
ADMINISTRATION
A reminder that if you have not completed your COVID-19 course or your Cadet Code of Conduct, it must be completed and returned to the office ASAP.
Any Cadet that applies for a Summer Training Course or Staff Cadet position must have this completed in order to be considered.

CADET MEDALS
There are two medals can be given out each year.
Applications for these medals will be coming soon. Below is a description of each medal award so that you can review see if you are eligible to submit an application(s).
ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION CADET MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE
- awarded in recognition for an individual that endeavors in citizenship that meet or enhance the aims and objectives of the cadet movement
- meets all requirement of the squadron annual mandatory and optional training programs
- participated in a minimum of three community service events, in addition to those supported by the squadron
- regarded by peers and superiors as exemplifying the model cadet. Co-operation with peers and subordinates, comradeship, promoting goodwill and moral within the squadron, supporting and assisting fellow members, involved in the local community
LORD STRATHCONA MEDAL
- encourages the improvement of the physical and intellectual capabilities of cadets.
- foster patriotism in cadets through the acquisition of a good knowledge of military matters
- high level of physical fitness
- Level 4 or higher, met all training requirements and 75% attendance
- be regarded by peers and supervisors as exemplifying the model a cadet
HUBBELL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The Hubbell Awards Incorporated is a small charity whose mission is to provide scholarships to cadets currently enrolled in a cadet corps or squadron (in Manitoba) who will continue their education at a civilian technical institute, college or university.
