  • The Cadet program requires that, in order to receive a promotion Flight Sergeant  (FSgt) to Warrant Officer Second Class (WO2), and WO2 to Warrant Officer First Class (WO1) a Cadet must demonstrate their skills in front of a review board.  The board will decide who, based on their performance and by using measurable evaluation, is ready to take on the next challenge in their cadet career.
  • Any FSgt and up that wishes to take part on the Warrant Officer Boards, they will be taking place on 26 Mar 2021.
  • More information on the process will be coming soon.

JOINT SQUADRON PARADE NIGHT - 05 FEB 2021

SUMMER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the summer training program was required to be modified. In order to operate safely in the COVID-19 environment, a variety of delivery methods will be used, reduced number of in-person CTC courses, billets and CTCs operating during summer 2021.

The majority of summer training courses will conducted virtually - offering online courses and activities again this summer.

Air Cadets will be able to apply for up to 7 virtual CTC courses; however there is no guarantee that you will receive all of your choices.

The following 2 courses will be offered in-person.
  • Advanced Aerospace; 04 Jul - 14 Aug 2021
  • Survival Instructor; 18 Jul - 27 Aug 2021
Cadets applying for these must have the pre-requisites in order to be considered for the courses.  If a Cadet applies, there is no guarantee they will be provided an offer to attend, due to the limited number of spots available.

An online application will be sent out in the next few weeks as well with a specific deadline.  Any late applications may not be considered, therefore please ensure that once the application is available that you complete it by the required deadline.  All applications need to be reviewed by the CO and forwarded to the Regionally Headquarters and therefore we require enough time in advance of the final deadline to complete the review.

Staff Cadets:  There will also be an opportunity for Senior Cadets to apply for in-person & virtual staff cadet positions.  Further information will be coming and will be part of the application process.

At any time during the planning and execution of summer training 2021, changes in the COVID-19 environment may dictate the necessity to alter, cancel, or delay training opportunities.
