OFFICE 365 & MS TEAMS
The aim of the Office 365 account and MS Teams is to have a 'one-stop shop' for training, tools & communication. Below is a link to a survey to determine your comfort level using this system and if additional training is required. Please complete this survey NLT 31-Oct-2021.

PASSWORD RESETS
In order to make things easier, you will now be able to reset your password yourself (instead of asking Lt Chennells). The next time you log into the Office 365 account, you will be asked to set-up a recovery method (email or mobile phone) ands to verify it. You will need to do this in order to have self-password reset ability.
INSTRUCTING
Please ensure that you are checking the training schedule on regularly, so that you are prepared for your classes. The training schedule is changed from time to time, and you will be notified if anything changes. Please take into consideration that if you are not prepared or do not show up or cancel at the last minute, this has a domino effect to other instructors and the training plan.
Lesson Plans and Presentations are to be uploaded to the MS Teams portal (preferably by mid-week of the week you are instructing) so that it can be reviewed or if needed, can be used by another instructor.
If you have any issues with instructing, reach out to your Level NCO and/or your Level Officer.
In-Person Instructing
If you are scheduled to teach an in-person class (for example this Friday Level 1s are in-person), you are required to come to the Commissionaires Building to teach your class). When you are not teaching, you will be provided a device (if you do not have one) to log into your Level 5 class.
Example, if you are teaching 2nd period, you will come to the Commissionaires Bldg for 1830pm, log into your 1st period Level 5 class, excuse yourself to teach your period 2 class, and then log back into your period 3 Level 5 class.
Virtual Classroom Links
In order to make things easier for Level 5s to access the virtual class you will be instructing, all Level Officers have been asked to add you as an attendee to their Level Classroom. There fore , over the coming days, you will be receiving invitations to these classrooms. The invites will then show up in your Teams Calendar and you will just be able to click on it to enter the room.
ATTENDANCE
A reminder that if you are not attending a parade night, you should be completing a Cadet Absentee Request Form on the 177rcacs.ca website (under Forms tab). This is so that Mrs. Flook can update your attendance in our systems.
