COMMANDING OFFICER'S PARADE (CO's Parade) - 25 Oct 2019
COs Parade next week!
Dress: C-1; Full uniform with tunic, wedge, shirt, tie, belt, trousers, boots, and medals and pins.
If you do not have a uniform: white collared shirt or blouse, black dress pants, black shoes. Males preferred to also wear a tie.
All Cadets take part in the CO's Parade.
Parade will begin at 20:30; parents are encouraged to attend.
TRAINING
GLIDING (OCT 27) – If you have not returned your permission slip it must be returned as soon possible so that we can confirm the meal and transportation. WSe still have about 30 spots available. Permission slip is available on the website or click https://177rcacs.ca/20097-2/

LEVEL 5 WORKSHOP (NOV 15 - 17)
MANDATORY for Level 5s who have not already completed a workshop previously.
Transportation provided; travel will take place on the evening of Nov 15, return will be the afternoon of Nov 17.
Meals & accommodations are provided.
Level 5s who need to register need to inform Lt R Chennells as soon as possible.
GROUND SCHOOL (SQUADRON ONLY)
Oct 19th: 0900 - 1100 hrs at Minto (Room 18); an extra hour to make up for last week's cancelled class.
SUPPLY
Any new Cadets that have not been measured yet for a uniform will need to be seen by Capt Ocran next Fri (Oct 25).
If your uniform or supply request is ready, your name will be posted on the whiteboard outside the supply office.
REMINDER: Please make sure your name is written inside all your Cadet Uniform parts (including boots) and parka/fleece to avoid them being taken by another Cadet by accident. It is the Cadet's responsibility to ensure you have your uniform.
RANGE
Every Thursday evening ; 800 - 2100 hrs at Minto.
Open to all Cadets interested in learning the Air Rifle.
Dress: Civilian
PIPE BAND
PRACTICES
Every Saturday morning beginning Oct 5th.
1000 - 1200 hrs at Minto.
Instruction provided by Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders
DRILL TEAM
Begins Oct 20th.
1300 - 1500 hrs at Minto.
Next practice will be Nov 3rd.
Open to all Cadets that would like to be on the Drill Team.
POPPY SALES
Nov 2 & 3, Nov 9 & 10;
Superstore on Gateway Blvd & Sobey's on Henderson Hwy
Sign-up sheets are now available; Cadets to see FSgt McAllister & FSgt Ihozo to sign-up for shifts.
Shifts are 3 hours in duration.
All shifts need to be filled next week.
Cadets must be supervised by a parent during their shift.
ADMINISTRATION
Annual Verifications must be completed and handed in to CI Flook in the office, before Cadet can do any activities (FTX, Drill, Range) with the Squadron. We are still missing quite a few of these.
Reminder that if you are not coming to Cadets you must call or email the office in order to be considered excused by the Thursday evening prior.
